Habitat

The razor back likes to live in warm wet places. so remember to have plenty of water at least half the tank of water have a big tank!!!!!!!!! Each inch of turtle (FUll GROWN) MUST be ten gallons. The tank must be 80 degrees farenhiet so have a heater and a thermometer if it is not exactly right they wont eat.

Diet

Razorback musk turtles are omnivores, meaning they eat both plant and animal life, but are mostly meat eaters. You can feed them Sinking Carnivore Pellets made by Hikari. Razorback musks are extremely messy eaters, so I would recommend feeding in a seperate tub if you prefer not having to clean the tank more often.

You can also feed your razorback musks with live food, such as crickets, mealworms, superworms, earthworms, wax worms, phoenix worms, cray fish, red minnows, gold fish, and the occasional pinkie mice. Red minnows have more nutrition than gold fish. Do not overfeed your razorback musk, feed him enough that he can eat in 20 minutes.
