A few weeks ago I posted a video of my two red eared slider turtles fighting tug-of-war with a cichlid that one of them caught.

From the video, we see that my female RES turtle Cinderella won and my male, Rex, was left with just a small chunck of fish meat. Well, here are photos I took right after the tug-of-war of Cinderella eating up the rest of the cichlid.

Pictures can be a bit gruesome. Poor fish – yes, but boy was Cinderella a happy turtle!!

Here’s two pictures of Rex after Cinderella won the contest and had the fish all to herself. Poor turtle, he just wants a fish meal!!

    here’s some quick basics – water temp at 75F degrees, a completely dry basking area with UVB lighting at 90, and as much swimming water as possible (hopefully 10 gallons of water for every inch of shell length


  3. Wow they are really amazig .My older cousin Rebecca has a turtle that she got in Panama City over last years summer . Her older sister Kaitlin is scared to touch it!
