Western Pond Turtles in the Oregon Zoo

Filed under Western Pond Turtle, aquarium, documentary, turtle tank, turtles, videos

Endangered Western Pond Turtles are exhibited at the Oregon Zoo. They have a nice big turtle tank, which houses several turtles. The Zoo is helping the western pond turtles in the wild.

Western pond turtles are a freshwater turtle and grows to 6″-8″ SCL. See the Western Pond Turtle Recovery Project of the Woodland Park Zoo for more information (that links to a different zoo than the one in the video).

This is an older video, but it’s a nice one.
