		<description>My red eared slider turtle is about eight years old, and she seems to have developed an infection of some sort. She swallowed a piece of dried silicon glue after ripping it out from the bottom of her tank and swallowed it before we could stop her. The next morning her eyes were red and puffy. She keeps closing them. It seems to heal slightly and then get worse again every night. She is also basking more often for much longer periods of time and seems slightly less responsive at times... do you have any ideas as to what I could try to make her get better? Her eyes look a lot worse when she&#039;s out of the water and when she closes them. When she&#039;s in the water she seems quite normal though!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thankyou. (:</description>
