A loggerhead sea turtle takes a few breathes before taking a dive. Video is shot from the top of the Giant Ocean Tank at the New England Aquarium in Boston.

A volunteer/employee/tour guide is talking about loggerhead turtles and why they have such a bizarre name. He also explains that loggerhead turtles can hold their breathe for about an hour.

The loggerhead turtle in the video is blind and cannot be released into the wild – its eyes have frostbite – a result of when it was stranded on a beach years ago .
