Pet Turtles And More

Florida box turtles are a small turtle, with a typical max size of 4″-6.5″ SCL.  They are best kept outdoors with a lot of room, with both a shallow water area and a dry area.  Their diet is omnivorous but they start out more carnivorous (worms, insects) and then a growing tendency for plant matter (but not green leaves) as they get older.
