black hair \ brush algae is back!!

Filed under algae, aquarium, fish, fish tank, flagfish, planted tank, plants

Groan!!! And after I had blogged about How I dealt with black hair \ brush algae too!

The algae is growing on some of my Christmas tree moss and on the leaves of a twisted java fern. The hairs are very short at the moment, so it’s not unsightly or gross yet. I have two florida flagfish – I do hope they can eat them up and control them.

This algae is quite problematic – I’m going to have to do more research on them. If I find anything worth noting, I’ll share it in a future post.
