Pet Turtles And More

After a period of over a year and a half of not measuring my red eared slider turtles – I finally measured them again.

Measuring the length of their carapace (straight carapace length or SCL) they are:
5 and 7/8 inches – Rex
5 and 7/8 inches – Cinderella

that’s a big jump from when I last measure them 18 months ago when they were just:
2 and 11/16 inches – Rex
2 and 1/2 (2 and 8/16) inches – Cinderella
That’s about double the size!!
